There’s been a small spate of Criminal Damage across the villages, Quorn, Woodhouse Eaves and Rothley where doors have been kicked causing damage and tyres have been damaged on a vehicle. We have also had one report of a stolen vehicle in Thurcaston and one report of a stolen bicycle in Rothley. Unfortunately we have no suspects at this time, but the beat team are aware and we will patrol the villages and we will show a presence in recently affected areas.
The beat team are aware of parking issues on Saxon Drive, Rothley during school pick-up/drop-off times. We ask parents to please be considerate when parking in residential areas. Please do not block people’s driveways or park on the pavements. The beat team will be patrolling the area during school times to advise accordingly.
We are holding beat surgeries in the upcoming weeks at the following locations:
Woodhouse Eaves Village Hall Car Park – 22/10/2021 between 18:00 – 19:00.
Cropston, Station Road outside the Church – 30/10/2021 between 11:15am – 12:15pm
Newtown Linford, outside the Police Box – 30/10/2021 between 13:30 – 14:30
Quorn, Co-Operative – 13/11/2021 between 11:00am – 12:00pm
Rothley, Co-Operative – 13/11/2021 between 14:00 – 15:00.
This is a good opportunity to meet your local policing team and to discuss your concerns.
Many thanks,
