FOOTPATH NOW CLEAR – Fallen Tree at Sandham Bridge over the Rothley Brook between Cropston and Thurcaston

Please note that due to flooding at Rothley Brook, a large ash tree has fallen and is resting on Sandham Bridge.

Public Footpath J60 traverses the bridge, Leicestershire County Council Highways who are responsible for footpaths have been notified.

The Parish Council is now actively working with a tree surgeon to make it safe.

Please avoid bridge if at all possible.
