I have reviewed the last 7 days of reported crime on the NL56 beat:
Quorn:
x1 Reported theft – Theft of alcohol from a shop – Suspect identified and the report is currently under investigation.
x2 Reports of criminal damage – First report is of a Intoxicated person who punches a car window causing damage – Suspect identified and the report is under investigation. Second report is of a dog maiming a sheep, this report is also under investigation.
x1 Reported burglary – Theft of cooking oil from a business – This report is currently under investigation.
Woodhouse:
x1 Report of criminal damage – Arson and damage caused to garden items – Suspects identified and the report is under investigation.
Rothley:
x1 Reported vehicle crime – Theft of a catalytic converter – Currently under investigation.
With students breaking up for the school summer holidays this week, the beat team will be doing extra patrols in the villages and in particular the park areas over the next few weeks to ensure they are used in the correct manner so everyone can enjoy the recreational areas.
The beat teams are holding beat surgeries in the upcoming weeks:
Saturday 16th July – 11:00am – 12:00pm – Apple and Pear Farm Shop, Woodhouse Eaves
Saturday 16th July – 14:00 – 15:00 – Co-Op, Rothley
Sunday 17th July – 11:15am – 12:15pm – Station Road (near Bradgate Road), Cropston
Sunday 17th July – 13:30 – 14:30 – Bradgate Road (Police Box), Newtown Linford
Sunday 17th July – 15:00 – 16:00 – Old School Tea Rooms, Quorn
