Quorn:

x1 Criminal Damage reported – A car rear window smashed. We have no suspects at this time.
x1 Burglary – A residential property broken into, car keys and a vehicle was taken. This report is currently under investigation.
Rothley:

x1 Burglary – A residential property entered via an insecure door and 2 sets of car keys and 2 vehicles were taken. This report is currently under investigation.
Newtown Linford:

x1 Theft – Large wooden gates stolen. We have no suspects at this time.
x1 Vehicle Crime – Registration plates stolen from a vehicle. We have no suspects at this time.
There has been an increase in car key breaks and we are advising residents to:

Ensure your house is secure, especially during the night.
Hide your car keys – do not keep them in an obvious place e.g. key hooks by the front door or in view from a downstairs window.
Always lock your vehicle, even if you’re ‘popping’ back into your house to get something.
The beat team are holding beat surgeries in the upcoming weeks:

Rothley, Deli 1880 – Saturday 19th November – 11:00am – 12:00pm
Quorn, Old School Tea Rooms – Saturday 19th November – 14:00 – 15:00
Thurcaston, Memorial Hall – Sunday 20th November – 11:15am – 12:15pm
Newtown Linford, Bradgate Road (Police Box) – Sunday 20th November – 13:30 – 14:30
Woodhouse Eaves, Apple & Pear (Farm Shop) – Sunday 20th November – 15:00 – 16:00
